Park City '07 LATE POST!

I debated whether or not I should post this because it happened clear back in October. But I was just looking at the pictures and I wanted to post something and it's late so... there ya go. Back in October, I went to Park City with my best friend Kelly and her mom and sisters. They are seriously my second family. My mom moved to Seattle when I was still in High School. I wanted to stay with my friends and stay at the same school so I moved in with my friend Kelly and her family. They are seriously the funnest people to be around and I love them dearly. This is NOT a very entertaining post for everyone, but... it is to me because I was there and it makes me want to go back!

We ate!
We did the Alpine Slides! We raced and I WON!!
We laughed!
We saw a bat! EWWW!We stayed up late and we were sooo SILLY!
We laughed some more! Oh, and we shopped but I was too busy to take pictures of that!

Temple Square

The other night, after John's work party at The Roof, we went to Temple Square. It was beautiful as usual. It was also BEYOND cold. But we still had a great time. Accomplishing John's work party and temple square combined was a difficult task. I couldn't bring Faith to the work party which means that if I wanted to go, I had to arrange my nursing schedule just so. I had to sort of force feed her before she was ready a few times during the day so that I could maintain my schedule. I dropped her off with my friend at 4:30 and nursed right before I left. The party went from 5:30-7:30. I asked Kelly if she would like to come to Salt Lake after the work party so that we could see the lights (oh, how very convenient of me). Good thing I have such a nice friend who took care of both my children and then drove my nursing baby to me. We had a good time.

Here's a picture of us at some lights. Notice my super ugly pants. I swear to you though that the outfit underneath was cute and that I didn't look that fat. The wind was blowing and my legs look enormous. But there was cuteness underneath. Promise. You can tell the wind was blowing. Just look at Levi's face.

Great bagpiper (or is it bag pipe(ist))? Look closely. I think he's looking at me. Creepy.
Unfortunately, my camera died right after this picture was taken. It's too bad too because there were some gorgeous things there. Oh well. Maybe next year. (And maybe Santa will bring me a new camera this year because mine that I have now sort of sucks.)
The END.

I Made Them TOO!

Denae has this wonderful recipe for Grasshopper Brownies; now affectionately known as "Blog Brownies" because she has brought them to blog parties that I didn't get to go to. Paige also did an entry about these fabulous brownies.
We had our good friends Ryan and Kelly and their son Dean over so I decided to attempt these brownies. They really are as good as they look. Better actually. I'm not usually a mint person. Like those yucky Andes mint things at Christmas time? They totally make me gag. But these?? These brownies are heavenly. You really must try them. Paige's link has the recipe. I sent a bunch home with Kelly because I was worried that even though the recipe makes a lot, I would still eat any leftovers. I saved myself a couple for my Saturday splurge. I can't wait. Here's a picture of us enjoying our Blog Brownies. Drool if you must. Oh, and ignore the off-centeredness of the picture. Levi took it.

Fat Cats

Levi, Mom, baby Faith, Ryan and Kelly chillin' at the bowling alley. Check out those ding dongs behind us. They were driving us nuts saying the "F" word every other second. They were sooo annoying! Hello! There's kids present, guys.

Let's Ride!
On the way home with his prize. Looks like it was a success!

Last night we went to the Pizza Factory and had yummy pizza and bread sticks and afterward we went to Fat Cats. Levi had so much fun bowling and scored a 96! He even got a strike! We went so that we could have one last hurrah before kindergarten starts on Wednesday. We tried to make the outing as much about Levi as possible since there's been so much attention on the baby lately. He had so much fun!
